Machine story: | 2015-03-06 The machine was / seemed blocked on arrival. The pin matrix block seemed stuck. Two numbers where inputted. (according the figure position indicator) The motor was working well, if the switch was activated (via the lever below the key board). But no key was possible to push except the "X" key, proved afterwards. After pushing that "X" key the machine resets its self to the position where the next number should be inputed and the total key should be pressed. Bingo, the machine got in the rest position. After that, all possible arithmetic operations are well executed, with expected results!! After a while the motor starts to turn slowly, without external mechanical activation. >> Capacitors leakage!! known from previous machines with spark protection and radio interference circuits. I decided to leaf this un repaired, for the first weeks to come and open the soldered box later for replacing the electric components. |
