Type name / number: Adding and Listing machine, Continental 9S (hand driven)
Production / SN: 81837 (no P in front of the serial number)
Calculating principle: Rocking Segment with full keyboard
Calculating functions: Add and Subtract.
The machine performs direct subtraction and shows negative results as we use to see them nowadays and not the unseal seen nine complements notation at mechanical calculators when the balance goes negative. (It looks if it is one of the latest 9S versions.)
Input accuracy: 8 digits
Calculating accuracy: 9 digits
Extra's: Positive negative result indicator true a hole in the case above the keyboard to the right. True negative result numbers on the printing role (please see at Calculation functions).
The case is 2 mm thick aluminum and not painted with the characteristic structure paint, of most other continental machines. (All these never seen before at 9S versions in musea or on the other 9S versions in my collection).
