Machine story: The machine was working on arrival, one digit was sticky on value5 and hardly not to change.
20-06-14- On a second try the carrier seems to transport not smooth on two locations. For the purpose of cleaning and solving the problems above mentioned, I removed the key board units. Not all de bollts of the case plates are there. Please see the pictures for the disassembled machine. The fixed five was a problem of the daisy chain below the special Marchant Adapting Segment calculating gear unit. On that axis the sector gear is turned and pulled to the zero position by one spring per digit. Penetrating oil alone was not enough. Moving this axis in the longitude direction was the solution.
2012-06-16 I have repainted the left upper plate of the key board. The carrier problem not located ?? but seems not to harm the opperation. So I reassembled the machine.
