The history of the Nisa company

Heinichen near Reichenbach became after the second World War Czech territory (Hanichov). The German Mira Rechenmaschinen Manufacturer was located there and moved to Prosec near Jablonec near the river Nisa (German = Neisse).
The Calculators were produced based on Russian drawings, off the Monroe templates. Their "Split-Stepped-Drum" machines, with plastic looks and low in weight compared to a lot af competitors, where very successful in the Eastern Block countries.
