| Machine story: | 2014-05-08 Outside a little cleaned. Machine internally nice clean / perfect shape. The sound attenuation material who was internally glued to the case is perished. Touching it turns it to dust. Removed the upper loosing part. Adding calculating tests all passed. Ribbon dry out but usable for the first check. 2014-05-10 Calculation test multiplication / repeat add and balanced / negative numbers are all passed. Negative numbers are printed in red (see two last pictures) Nice to see that the multiplication operation keeps the result in the register. There are some other machines where the multiplication ends with a resetting of the register, the total key operation. Here a separate "=" key there to start the multiplication and adds it to the listing a second multiplication to add, or an add or subtract can follow. |
