The history of the Remington company

In 1927 mr. James H. Rand bought the Remington Typewriter Co. and made it a part of his newly formed Remington Rand Corp.
Adding machines were manufactured from 1932 in the »Accounting Machine Division« of Buffalo, New York.
1955 Remington Rand merged with Sperry-Univac and later in
1986 with Burroughs to form Unisys.
