Machine story: 2012-09-17
All my three old type Comptess machines hat the same failure at receiving, they continuing run an instruction cycle. The handle, who normally stopped the motor controlled by the main axis, blocked at the turning point, near the bottom plate of the machine. A plastic kind of ring is wear out and nearly disappeared, but rest material is creeping in to the bearing.
After cleaning and turning the bearing, the machine was working properly.
The calculation checks are passed.
The motor, of all the Walther rocking segment machines, is not with brushes, but with the type using an big capacitor for the faze shifting.
